It’s a new year!!
I hope you had such a sweet time during the holidays with family and friends. My break has been happily filled with catching up on stories and much needed rest. I’m just so dang thankful. Coming home has given me this opportunity to slow down and take in the tremendous amount of growth that has happened over the past 4 months. It is a funny thing coming home. All of the sudden you are expected to show what you have learned and experienced with a crowd that is used to the person that stood before them in your previous season. Seasons go by and it feels like a lifetime has passed. So, families, bear with us as we continually adjust and learn in our young years.
The idea of freedom has been consuming my mind lately. When faced with the typical questions of explaining my life in California I was often asked things like:
“What was the biggest thing you learned while with Circuit Riders?”
“What do you even do in California?”
“I feel like all you guys do is take cool pictures.”
While it is true that I’m not lacking in scenic pictures I want to make sure that my vision in this journey is clear. I want to fully express to the best of my ability the breakthrough that has happened within my spirit alongside the CR family. Our leadership, the community, and our experiences produced an atmosphere where complete vulnerability was necessary for our revival. Over 90 students came from all over the world with one goal in mind: Jesus. This cultivated an environment hungry for His presence and unsatisfied with anything less than total pursuit of relationship with Him. Our expectations grew as we came together as a unified body and sought the glory of our Father. We were marked together and now we have a mission in 2018. Our Carry the Love tour will be an absolute wildfire of love for Jesus and people. We have teams spread out all over the nation meeting students face to face and telling them the Ultimate Truth.
You are known. You are loved. You are seen.
We have a high school team that will be gathering assemblies in schools to talk about the tough issues of bullying, suicide, and abuse. To simply sit with a young student and offer a listening ear to their pain is the heart of Jesus. To make sure they know that they aren’t overlooked. To make known the absolute kindness of the One who created them.
We have a generation of faith filled women rising together and calling to light the passions of Brave Love. To carry themselves with grace and dignity. To understand their worth as a beloved daughter. To grasp the concept of their heavenly inheritance as a queen. To set aside specific time in bible studies with these women is the heart of Jesus.
We have a creative boldness that approaches campuses with open eyes and hearts to see how Jesus wants to interact with His children. We put couches in the middle of streets and have people sit down and discuss what their idea of home looks like. To listen to their stories without judgement and share with them the whispers of the Holy Spirit is the heart of Jesus.

These are each invitations for an experience with Jesus. That is simply all we can do. We walk in tune with the Holy Spirit and seek what He has in every action and word that flows from our mouth. Nothing else needed but relationship with Jesus. This is what freedom has brought in my life. This is what life in abundance is like.
As I brought in this new year I set aside specific time to dig deep into the Word. I listened to what the Lord wanted to say and was blown away by His kindness and favor. I was brought to 2 Corinthians 8-9 and was undone by what the Lord was saying about the generous giver. We have been given this opportunity to cast away all anxiety and burdens on Him. He takes them so easily and with such grace. He loves seeing us set free in His identity. It is His desire and it gives Him complete fulfillment to be our utter satisfaction.
As I read through this scripture it mentioned how we are actually called to provide for one another’s needs in community. It says that when He becomes our greatest priority and only necessity everything else actually falls into place. When we freely receive we have the gift of freely giving.
“For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, He will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.
Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God. So two good things will result from this ministry of giving- the needs of the believers in Jerusalem will be met, and they will joyfully express their thanks to God” (2 Corinthians 9:10-13).
Isn’t this beautiful? We not only get to partner with Jesus and what He wants for this nation but we get to bless others with faithfully obeying what He has commanded us to do. It is a radical message of generosity and trust in the Ultimate Provider. So this is my request of you today. To intentionally seek what the Father has for you in this message. So ask Him how He wants you to partner with Him in His constant pursuit of calling His children home. To seek what it means for you to take part in a massive movement of revival and making the name of Jesus famous. To take on this lifestyle of loving like Jesus and allowing Him to take over completely.
It is my joy to be able to walk with Jesus on this journey of seeing Him satisfy every need for this upcoming year. He has instilled passions and desires in my heart that will take only Him and His character to come to fruition. If you would like to partner with Jesus, me, and the Circuit Riders I ask that you prayerfully consider a financial blessing and stand with us in intercession and prayer. Think of us as we cross the nation bringing the Living Bread to a hungry generation.
I have been keeping in contact with the Missions Board through my home church and they have set up an account for me for any tax deductible donations.
